Moving to Orkney

After doing the normal household chores yesterday I went into my garden room to check the raspberries, and finding enough to make a couple of pots of jam I set straight too making this years first batch.

Phill and I both have a passion for homemade raspberry jam, nothing beats it.

We don't get tons of raspberries off our canes so I usually make jam with them, it goes further this way rather than just having a bowl of them.

Nothing cheers you up more on a dark winters day than toasted brown bread spread with a good layer of your own summery raspberry jam mmm, yum yum!
