Moving to Orkney

We went to a concert yesterday, it was held at Noltland Castle in the large room which used to be the kitchens at the bottom of the castle.

It was chant music and choir chant it was quite different, I have to be honest it was not really my cup of tea but it made change. But the island turned out in great number so they were well supported. The only thing was it was colder in the "dungeons" than it was outside, so I got so cold it took me quite a while to thaw out.

Today I've been pricking out lettuce, and planting out cuttings.Oh and I had enough raspberries to make more jam! Phill cut the grass out the back, it does looks so good when its done, trouble is by the time you've cut the back and the front the backs ready to be cut again.
