Moving to Orkney

Its been a while again since I last wrote, I don't know where the time goes.

I've been tidying up in the garden room, and noticed the grapes are turning purple! Wow not green grapes at all.  So had a read up and found out I needed to remove the leaves of the vine so the sun can get to the berries to ripen them. Got my son on doing that, so sun is shining on them now, we'll soon be eating Westray grown grapes who would of thought it.

But then we had some friends called round last week to ask if I would like some fruit as they had plenty, so yes please! My word when they opened the boot boxes of peaches, apricots plums and apples all grown locally in a polytunnel.

So, I've been making jam again! very nice indeed.
