Moving to Orkney

Well it has been another cracker of a week weather wise, altough it looks to be on the turn now.

According to the paper Orkney has enjoyed a mini heatwave with Orcadians flocking to the beaches to enjoy temperatures approaching 20 degrees.

Don't laugh! That's warm for us.

But seriously, I know our daughters living in the Midlands think that 's cold, but personally I've found it a bit uncomfortable. We've been sleeping with the windows open the duvet at the bottom of the bed most of the week. How ridiculous is that in Orkney!
