Moving to Orkney

Happy New Year to one and all, hope its happy ans prosperous for you.  We had a very quiet and peaceful christmas, what I call a good christmas. Tree has come down today so that's it all over, need to cut down on goodies and rich meals. Even Spot the dog needs to go on a diet, he looks like a jam roly poly! little rolls of fat around his neck and his collar is a little too close fitting. 

We have a real good run of lovely fine weather here in Westray, frosty and cold but very clear and no wind at all. This morning it looks like it's all change though, quite dark and overcast and a little rain but no significant wind.
