Moving to Orkney

Well, I keep seeing the weatherman on the telly talking about wet weather. Now the met office are "cooling" their forecast for summer.

It's been great here!

We've had sunny weather for ages now. In fact we could really do with some proper rain. We went down to Birmingham a week ago to collect our daughter and all the way down through the Highlands of Scotland it was scorching (oh how I miss air conditioning in the car, thought we'd not need that again!), as we started down the M6 in England it started to rain, it rained pretty much all whilst we were there, we joked as we drove back north "not to worry it will be sunny once we get to Scotland. And, Hey presto! It pretty much was.

We have had some occassional rain over the last week, indeed it has rained briefly today, but nothhing to shout about. Watching the news I see the "promised" rain for the rest of Britain seems to have performed as predicted.

It's definitely all wrong! But we're loving it.

Frozen north? It doesn't get much better than this...
