Moving to Orkney

One of the very few things that I miss from "down south" is trees. Although there are trees in Orkney, there aren't many.

That might be about to change thanks to funding from the Forestry Commissions 'Forests for People' challenge fund as they have awarded £52,500 the Orkney Islands Council and the Orkney Woodland Group.

Together with funding from the Orkney Island Council and the Scottish Natural Heritage this will enable the project to continue its woodland project over the next three years.
