Moving to Orkney

A rather cold and overcast day today in Westray, the sort of day I love. It means you don't have to feel guilty about staying in and doing inside jobs. So I've put up the xmas tree.  It was acutally very easy this year, I had forgotten that I had packed it away last year with the decorations still in place.  Nelson was just a kitten last xmas, and he made it his job to keep the tree free from decorations. After replacing baubles several times a day we came up with a solution, we tie wrapped all the baubles on so when the time came to take it down we just packed it away baubles still on, oh happy memories of a much missed companion (see Horrid Week). I've just added some chocalate baubles to it, mmm' me thinks I will have to place them slighty higher as Spot (small dog) is showing a little too much interest in them!
