Nature and wildlife watching is very popular in Orkney with an abundance of animals and birds for the watcher. If eating out or clubbing is your bag, then you're still catered for on Orkney Mainland and to varying extents on the outer islands. Orkney Mainland has many hotels/bars often providing entertainment from visiting groups/artists, there is a cinema at the Pickaquoy Leisure Centre, and the Fusion nightclub providing dancing till 2 in the morning. Fancy an Indian? There are two Indian restaurants in Kirkwall, the Dil Se and the Indian Garden both also provide a take away service. Prefer Chinese? Then try The Empire Chinese restaurant and takeaway, or the Golden Dragon restaurant and takeaway, both in Kirkwall.
